Sage Science develops sample prep technologies for life science research. We focus on electrophoretic approaches that improve and automate high-value steps in Next Gen sequencing workflows.
Sage manufactures and sells the Pippin™ and SageELF™ instruments which automate DNA size selection for next-gen sequencing library construction. These gel electrophoresis systems are widely used for DNA, RNA, ChIP-seq, sample prep as well as long-read sequencing methods.
We recently introduced the SageHLS™ high molecular weight library system. This new class of products provides one-stop sample prep which combines DNA purification, enzymatic treatment, and size selection capabilities on a single platform. Key applications include the collection ultra-high molecular weight DNA (up to 2 MB), purification of gene targets using guided endonucleases (i.e. CRISPR/Cas9), and bead-free sequencing library construction.
