Many scientists seeking to improve processes within and results of their genomic applications, particularly when working with challenging samples such as FFPE or cfDNA, rely on our Solid Phase Reversible Immobilization (SPRI) technology and/or Biomek Automated Workstations.
Our SPRI paramagnetic bead-based reagents and kits—including Agencourt AMPure XP—selectively immobilize nucleic acids by type and size. The resulting optimized binding conditions enable highly specific isolation, purification and clean-up protocols supporting genomic applications including sequencing, PCR/qPCR/ddPCR, microarrays and other enzymatic reactions.. For unsurpassed flexibility, our chemistries can be used with manual methods, or automated on a Biomek Automated Workstation.
All our Biomek liquid handlers—including the new i-Series platforms—feature flexible decks and easy-to-use software to help simplify and accelerate genomic workflows. We also partner with customers and leading genomic technology companies to develop uniquely innovative and streamlined solutions. To date, these encompass an array of Biomek-automated nucleic acid sample prep, Target Prep for Affymetrix microarrays and library preparation methods—including Illumina®-qualified NGS methods. The result of these partnerships: optimized, standardized workflows to help researchers achieve optionally increased throughput and reproducible results.
