1. What is a Festival – is doesn’t sound very “sciencey”?

We believe in providing an environment for creativity – to encourage those working in the genomics field to make connections between diverse ideas, concepts and data. The path to progress is through originating new ideas and through challenging existing concepts and models, and the Festival is the best place to do that.

Just like other great Festivals , it’s not just about our headliners and stage acts, but the full range of activities around the site that give that Festival feeling and make the experience memorable. Introducing some of the more unusual elements opens the door to an atmosphere of fun and informality which makes striking up a conversation with your peers and heroes effortless.

2. Is there an option to present a poster?

Of course – we have a dedicated Poster Zone. You can find out more information here.

3. What does my Festival ticket include?

Your Festival ticket allows you full access to the two main days of the Festival (June 28th and 29th), including plenaries, all streams, additional seminars and show-floor features. You can only attend the workshops if you have purchased a Silver, Gold or Platinum ticket (depending on how many workshops you would like to attend). Your ticket also entitles you to join us for the networking drinks reception at the end of the first day. Please note, your ticket does not include accommodation – please book early for the best rates available. See Venue, Travel and Accommodation for more details.
